It is very important to address how to control snow and ice from falling off metal roof systems.

Metal panels have smooth surfaces and quickly transfer heat: therefore, snow and ice tend to move and slip suddenly from panels. In locations, where ice and snow occur very frequently, snow and ice guards are desirable, particularly if a metal roof's eave is positioned over vehicular traffic areas and pedestrian.

Our snow guards prevent the formation of ice dams on eaves and protect the surface below the eaves from damage due to falling snow/ice. Snow guards hold the snow evenly over the entire roof, allowing it to melt gradually and drain off into gutters and leaders.
